Spanish Springs Valley has grown from open rangeland into one of Washoe County's most active residential communities. Action Lawn & Landscape works with homeowners and property managers throughout Spanish Springs — whether it's a recently finished new build that needs a complete landscape plan or an established property that needs consistent, reliable maintenance.
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Spanish Springs is its own valley, separated from the main Reno–Sparks basin by a low ridge north of Sparks. The landscape here is more open, more exposed, and for many longtime residents, more familiar with raw desert than established suburban greenery. That's changed fast as thousands of new homes have gone up over the past two decades.
The valley's conditions present their own set of landscaping challenges. Soils can be shallow over hardpan, irrigation design matters enormously for plant establishment, and the wind exposure means that what grows well in a sheltered South Reno yard may struggle on an open Spanish Springs lot. We bring experience from both sides of the ridge and tailor our approach to what the property actually needs.
Spanish Springs has grown rapidly, with many properties starting from scratch after builders turn over the lot. We help homeowners establish lawns, irrigation systems, and landscape plans that work for the valley's conditions.
Spanish Springs Valley sits in its own basin north of Sparks, with more open exposure than the Reno metro. Wind, UV intensity, and drainage all factor into plant selection and irrigation design here.
As one of the fastest-growing areas in Washoe County, Spanish Springs has a mix of established HOA communities and newer phases of development. We serve both established yards and brand-new properties.
From sprinkler installation for new builds to ongoing lawn maintenance for established yards, we provide a full range of services for Spanish Springs properties.
